Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and engaging Roller Skating Rink DJ to create an exciting atmosphere for our skaters! As the DJ, you will be responsible for curating and playing music that enhances the skating experience, making announcements, coordinating games and special events, and keeping the crowd entertained. The ideal candidate is outgoing, has a strong sense of music selection for different audiences, and can confidently interact with guests over the microphone.

Responsibilities:

• Play a variety of music genres to cater to different sessions (family skate, teen night, theme nights, etc.).
• Engage with guests through lively and fun announcements.
• Host skating games, contests, and special events.
• Take song requests and mix music appropriately for the skating environment.
• Ensure the sound system and DJ equipment are functioning properly.
• Work with management to create themed playlists and event schedules.
• Maintain a family-friendly and positive atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a DJ or strong knowledge of music and sound equipment.
• Comfortable speaking on a microphone and interacting with crowds.
• Ability to read the crowd and adjust music to match the energy of the session.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for sound and DJ equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a roller skating rink or entertainment venue.
• Familiarity with different music genres and skating culture.
• Knowledge of DJ software and equipment.
